Roman Introduce Matt Black Finish

International shower designer and manufacturer, Roman, has opened a new Solid Surface Fabrication Plant specifically for bathroom furniture and vanity tops.

Roman has a long established Solid Surface (engineered stone) Moulding Plant on its main manufacturing Site in Newton Aycliffe and has recently expanded upon this. They manufacture integrated Solid Surface solutions for hotels, student accommodation and leisure facilities. These products are purely bespoke to the individual Project requirements.

A Solid Surface sheet of varying thicknesses is cut and fabricated to produce whatever design is required but with invisible joints and a huge variety of design detail and features.

The facility includes rapid prototyping; CNC precision mould making; a large variety of different moulding methods for different products; and a huge oven and fabrication area for the highest quality finishing. Having the mould manufacturing in-house gives huge flexibility in terms of lead-times and cost of moulds – depending upon the particular application and volumes.

Roman can manufacture to any specification required and can offer fully reinforced systems using steel or other substrates as required. This is especially popular in the International Hotel and Project Sector where Solid Surface Fabrication allows complete freedom of design to match any Clients requirements.

For nearly 14 years Roman has been designing and manufacturing specialist Solid Surface Shower Trays and associated products. All products are hand finished on Site and Roman can offer low cost moulding to allow any shape, colour and texture required for the most discerning customers. All products are made from Roman Stone.

David Osborne, Managing Director of Roman, commented: “Whilst we have been moulding Solid Surface for some time it was important to be able to offer specially fabricated of sheet alongside this. We can now offer the complete Solid Surface package with integrated showers and bathroom equipment as required.”
