A Dream Sleep Event for Roman
Leading UK shower manufacturer, Roman, have reported that this year’s Sleep Event, was the best the company has experienced in their 5 consecutive years of exhibiting at the show.
The Roman stand was very much focussed specifically for the Project market, with the launch of the company’s unique award winning Project Specification Guide, which allows specifiers and developers to create a totally bespoke enclosure. Every single product displayed on the stand highlighted different options that are available from the Project Guide.
On their stand, Roman displayed the option of a combined shower enclosure and toilet cubicle – something which is becoming increasingly popular within the hotel sector. The toilet cubicle featured a two-way swing hinge on the toilet cubicle door, with a frosted glass ‘modesty’ partition, along with an alternative handle option picked from the Project Specification Guide.
Also on display was their Sculptures Wetroom Panel with Concealed Profile – which has been a popular choice for more top end project specifications, thanks to its frameless look. For the Sleep Event Roman created a bespoke 1600mm wide version which included the option of a 200mm return panel. They teamed this with one of JT’s new Soft Stone Trays for a truly indulgent finish.
Roman also displayed their newly launched Orbital Outward Opening Bath Screen, but this was showcased with the option of a concealed profile for a frameless finish. Alongside the bath screen, Roman displayed a Hinged Door Enclosure option which included a reduced height panel, installed onto a bath – a popular solution for smaller hotel bathrooms. This bespoke hinged door included a towel rail style handle option.
To complete the stand and to really highlight all the bespoke options available through their Project Specification Guide, Roman included large graphics which showcased a selection of the different hinge, handle, profile and seal options they have available for specifiers to choose from.
At the beginning of November Roman’s newly launched Project Guide received the Designer Kitchen and Bathrooms Magazine Gold Award for Marketing.
Talking about the exhibition, Roman’s Managing Director, David Osborne commented: “Sleep has always been a great show for us. It is a very focussed exhibition and this year our stand was better than ever, with the launch of our Project Specification Guide. The quality of visitors to our stand was excellent and they were all very interested in the Project Specification Guide – it is a totally unique concept to have all of the showering components presented, so specifiers and designers can easily create their own individual enclosure to suit their project. The exhibition was the perfect place to formally launch the guide and really talk about the concept with specifiers – the feedback we received was fantastic.”
