Brexit Minister Visits Roman
Leading international shower designer and manufacturer, Roman, has had a visit from David Davis the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union with Dehenna Davison the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Sedgefield.
With only two days until Election Day, David Davis and Dehenna Davison are visiting prominent companies in the North East area. Today they visited Roman and had a tour of their manufacturing plant in Newton Aycliffe. They spoke with Roman employees about their roles at Roman and their views on the upcoming election.
During the visit to Roman Headquarters where 230 staff are employed, David Osborne, Managing Director of Roman discussed Roman’s manufacturing capabilities, International trade, the Made in Britain Organisation and manufacturer’s future plans.
David Davis is a British Conservative Party politician who has been the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union since 2016.
Roman’s manufacturing capability and vast range of products has made the Brand increasingly strong in key International Markets. Roman has supplied products for Projects in over 50 Markets across the World from County Durham. Roman was recently highlighted by the FT as one of the 1000 fastest growing Companies in Europe.
Roman has recently won the Queens Award for International Trade as they have shown a substantial and sustained increase in export earnings over three consecutive 12 month periods, to a level which is outstanding. The Queens Award for Enterprise is the most prestigious corporate accolade that a UK business can win.
