Innovative Designs at Design Show
Roman, International market leading shower designer and manufacturer, had an exceptionally successful show at the May Design Series this year, showcasing a selection of their brand new products.
The May Design Series was timed perfectly to showcase selected products from Roman’s brand new Liber8 Range; a new addition to their Lumin8 Range in the form of an inswing door; impressive over height 10mm thick glass Decem Enclosure; solid surface technology and new technology on digitally printed glass finishes.
The design show is an excellent design platform and it is a key time within the London design calendar to showcase Roman’s new products as they are aligning appropriate products for the architects and designers in the market place. London is the ideal location to target their audience and receive the foot traffic and quality leads.
The official introduction of Roman’s innovative digital glass printing was showcased at the May Design Series. They presented design examples of how effective the digital printing looked on their wetroom panels.
The digital prints included a tropical jungle scene, industrial red bricks and glass blocks, which will be available on wetroom panels, exclusively across their Decem Collection.
This new innovation in technology allows the images to be printed directly on to the glass, whilst all other areas of the glass remain transparent and crystal clear. Most importantly this digital glass printing is both water resistant and protected against abrasion, which makes it ideal to use in the bathroom.
The prototype from the new Liber8 Range was well received at the show. The new collection consists of ultra-minimalistic frameless designed shower enclosures, which stand at 2000mm high with 8mm thick glass. They will be available in silver chrome and brushed nickel finishes. Their minimalistic design is perfectly presented with the door being hinged directly from the wall or from the glass with ultra-clear seals, creating a flawless design.
Roman also presented their new Lumin8 Inswing Enclosure, which will be joining their already successful Lumin8 Range. The cleverly designed Inswing Enclosure features a large door opening without protruding into the room as much as a hinged or pivot door would, presenting a luxury product for the smaller bathroom.
